Medical Schools and things

I just helped Nick research Medical Schools for one of his pre-med classes. It seriously is a lot of fun thinking about where we might end up in a year! He takes the MCAT this May and he's getting ready for it now. He's such a hard worker and he's so diligent! He deserves to go to the best medical school! His first 5 top picks were in California ( I didn't have any say in this... you'd think, right? He grew up there, California has awesome schools, plus the weather is delightful.) I'd be thrilled if we ended up in California... but wherever we end up, we're going to make the most of it!

In December, I graduate ( FINALLY ) with a teaching license in elementary education. I can see the light... I can see it! I've been an awful blogger lately. Life's been hectic! I've slowly been trying to re-build my little photography business after learning photoshop. Boy does photoshop work wonders. I absolutely LOVE editing and taking pictures. It's SO therapeutic! When I edit, I feel like I'm painting a picture and creating art. It's so much fun.

In church, we had a lesson about "what we do with our time." Not that editing is a bad thing... but too much of something isn't good. Even though I'm trying to build my little photography business, there's always more important things I can do with my time like homework (haha) or spending time with Nick when he's not busy with school. I love the gospel and the hope it brings. I love going to church every Sunday and being refreshed. I'm always reminded of my individual worth and the perfect Love the Savior has for me. It blows me away.

This video goes perfect with the message I got from Sunday's lesson. Beautiful and Uplifting.

Never let a problem
to be solved
Become more important
Than a person to
Be loved.

Happy week, everyone!

This is for Ashley and Lance

So first of all... this was the sky tonight in Provo! Isn't is breath taking?

Ok, so I know I've posted a bazillion pictures of Zoe, but other than the fact that we love her.... Ashley and Lance ( her rightful owners) are in Brussels for an internship until April and we're house sitting and dog sitting until they get back. We've had a lot of fun with this little pup and she sure brings lots of joy to us! I know Ashley and Lance LOVE and miss her very much... so this post is for them! Bonjour!

This little one

I love this little one.

What dog waits for the light to green so she can cross a very busy intersection BY HERSELF?
Zoe does.
What dog cuddles with you early in the morning and late at night?
Zoe does.
What dog gives you high five?
Zoe does.

Nick and I have had so much fun watching her since lance and ashley have been in Belgium.
I know they love and miss her very much!

We love her too... so we try to keep her busy and happy. I love this pup so much, that I took her for a little jog ( in the cold, mind you) and I slipped and fell on a piece of ice on 900 E. It hurt and I was not a happy camper. Plus it brought back memories when I was in high school... haha. I just wish it was spring time already!

Zoe says BONJOUR to you, Lance and Ashley. She really did.

New Years Eve

New Years was fun, as usual. We spent it with our dear friends, Jason and McKell. You shouldn't be surprised. We're inseparable. :) And we feel so lucky to have such wonderful friends in our lives. We spent the night doing a little of this:

(the BEST game EVER: Dance Central. Seriously. Try it.)

and we did a lot of this:
( of course.)

I can't believe this little one is 6 months old!

Jason, McKell and Nash slept over and we woke up and made a yummy breakfast.

It was a ton of fun, however... you KNOW you're getting old when at 12:01 you're ready for bed. My poor friends played games without me. I seriously can't stay up late like I used to!

Zoe celebrated with us too. She's being such a good pup for us while Ashley and Lance are gone. They are in Switzerland at the moment and I'm quite jealous. I've always wanted to go there.
They're doing awesome though and are currently back packing through Europe!
